300 in Leipzig: Bach’s St. John Passion

Composed in April 1724, this oratorio is the oldest of the surviving passions by the masterful J.S. Bach. An orchestra and a host of distinguished soloists will join the Chorale for this performance. With its dramatic choruses, resonant arias and compelling narrative, the audience will be captivated by a work that shares a timeless story, with music that has been enjoyed for 300 years.
